Rick Cross, Owner & Builder
With more than 30 years in the construction industry, Rick Cross brings a lifetime of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for building homes that last. His journey began at just 16, when he enrolled in high school trade classes and discovered a calling in carpentry and design.

After graduation, Rick spent two years in California working on a custom home project that cemented his love for homebuilding. He then moved to Texas, where he met his wife and gained valuable experience with a local custom builder. In just three years, Rick had launched his own company and successfully completed eight custom homes in Rockwall, TX.​
​In 1999, Rick returned home to Vermont. Over the next two decades, he worked as an estimator, collaborating with local architects, designers, and subcontractors while building strong relationships across the industry. That foundation of knowledge and trust ultimately inspired him to establish Cross Construction Company, proudly serving the Okemo Valley and surrounding areas.

At Cross Construction, every project is rooted in clear communication, careful planning, and respect for budget and timeline. Rick’s personal commitment is to guide clients through the process from start to finish — ensuring that each home reflects both craftsmanship and the unique vision of the people who live in it.
